USEK University

Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK)is a private Catholic Higher Education Institution founded by the Lebanese Maronite Order (LMO) in 1950.

USEK is located in the heart of Mount Lebanon. It is multilingual by tradition, with French being the predominantly spoken language. Thanks to an extremely dense network of national and international relations, it plays a key role in training highly qualified researchers and professionals.

in terms of student numbers, USEK is the third largest private University in Lebanon and the third largest University in the country, after the Lebanese University (public university) and Saint Joseph University (private university).

As of 2010, the University is ranked among the top universities in the Middle East and North Africa.

USEK successfully completed an Institutional Evaluation Program conducted by the European University Association (EUA) in 2009. This association aims mainly to guarantee the realization of predetermined missions and objectives. It also seeks to ensure the conformity of its academic and administrative activities with the European standards of Quality Assurance.

It is the first University in the Middle East that conducts an Institutional Evaluation Program through the EUA. This association has developed more than 250 university evaluation programs all over the world, notably in Europe.
